Step 1: Create a Datastore

A datastore is a collection of documents that your agent can search.
  1. Go to Datastores in the sidebar
  2. Click Create Datastore
  3. Give it a name and description

Step 2: Upload Documents

  1. Open your datastore
  2. Drag and drop files (PDF, DOCX, TXT, or Markdown)
  3. Wait for processing to complete
Orka automatically chunks and indexes your documents for semantic search.

Step 3: Create an Agent

  1. Go to Agents in the sidebar
  2. Click Create Agent
  3. Give it a name and system prompt
  4. Connect it to your datastore

Step 4: Chat

Open the agent’s chat interface and ask a question about your documents. The agent will search your datastore and respond with sourced answers.
